We know that recovery is not easy. We attempt to make it as comfortable as possible. We try to answer the questions that are bound to arise as you consider attending a drug treatment facility. What about my family, and my loved ones? What about my work? How long will treatment take? While some of these do not have hard and fast answers in an effort to make your visit here a little smoother we’ll try to address them as best we can.

What about my family, and my loved ones?
Your family and loved ones want what is best for you. Often times they will be the ones that notice that you need help before even you do. At this point your drug abuse reaches a level that those around see how it is hurting you. At this point it is more important that you get help at our substance abuse treatment facility than anything else. Their support is one of the things that will help you recovery. We know that their presence can be one of the best ways to help the addiction recovery process. Our treatment facilities can also be a good neutral place to work on rebuild relationships you have damaged with your drug addiction.

What about my work?
It can be hard to choose a drug treatment facility over a paying job. There is certainly no income at a treatment facility. If you don’t get recovery you are likely to lose your job either way. Better to choose recovery now than to be forced to the decision down the road. Many companies even have programs that encourage and support addiction recovery.

How long will treatment take?
This is like asking “when does drug use become addiction”. It is different lengths of time for different people. If you are honest with yourself, does it matter? No matter how long your addiction recovery is, it’s worth it. It is better to complete it properly now, Rushing though it will only lead to false recovery, and a relapse into drug addiction.
